Controls reset to defaults every time I restart Warband

I bought Warband over Steam, and am running Vista on x64, but I doubt that has to do with this.
Every time I restart Warband, controls reset to defaults. Why don't they stay in the configuration I set for them, like the original M&B did?

Same thing happened to me, though I think it is fixed with 1.005.

Warband version 1.105? That's what it says when I start it up, and it's still happening.
