Constructive feedback after playing a few hours

Pretty much nailed it with the starting/main quest issue, I wanted to mention that as well.
The choices at the start of the game are very reminiscent of Warband where it pretty much didn't make a difference regarding the storyline (apart from skills and so) which was just fine with me, and by the end of it you have a perfect character background in mind. Here, you get into the game and it turns out you have siblings and have to immedietly start a Clan.

Saying that, I've noticed that in the launcher's 'Mods' tab, there are several lines including 'StoryMode' and 'Sandbox'. Not sure if that means they are already enabled or at some point we will have a Campaign and a 'do what you will' mode with a more generic starting quest - or the start of the game will change by the time we are out of the Alpha stage

In a mount and blade game, if there's going to be a main quest you need to provide the player with the option of starting a campaign with that specific quest or regular sandbox beginning. Viking conquest does this so I don't see a reason why Bannerlord can't do the same.

Could you post a screen of your game when you're in a city with a lot of people ?

Sorry, I couldn't get screenshots from steam for some reason, but managed to upload them on imgBB, these were just from today, I forgot what Cities by one of them is a city in the Northern Empire, Sturgia and Battania, it's currently in Winter but there are many NPC's in the streets, almost everywhere I look there are NPC's conversing and doing things. But sometimes, this happened a lot yesterday I couldn't see anyone, like your screenshots, it's strange. So it leads me to believe it's down to bugs but it could also be the time zone.

Thanks you ! That's still pretty empty and lifeless in my opinion but that's still better that what I got in Vlandian towns. Tough, it's far from the density of NPCs we've seen in the dev screens.

Have you tried putting your bow in the first slot? I know whichever melee weapon you put first you start with.
I have, seems it only pulls it out when it wants to. Even changed the keyboard mapping. Seems they wanted it to be under powered?

No problem, it's not as empty and lifeless as the images you showed, there are still NPC's in places doing things and working but yeah it's not as full of life as the advertised images but that's to be expected. The first city I visited was much better the marketplace was full, that was in the empire, pretty much where you started, then I went to a City in Aserei and it was the same, but since I've not had that level of detail.

I'm thinking there's something wrong with the current build that's causing this, I'm also putting it down to hardware, I only have a 1060 6gb ram and I've not experienced anything game breaking just yet, but there are some people that can't even play 10 minutes without a crash.
