Constant crashes after leaving town

Game crashes immediately after leaving a town, lost my save file because of this.
Edit: The town is Lageta
Edit: Appears to be the poachers quest crash. Quest log says -3 days remaining. Assuming its expiring as soon as I leave the town.

Same issue. After accepting the quest, game becomes completely unresponsive within a few seconds of map movement or just waiting in town.

Having same exact crash - I think it is crashing when I run out of time on the quest but sounds different for you guys. Either way same quest & crash.

I mean, it's probably the same crash. The quest starts with 0 days left, so I assume it times out and crashes pretty much immediately. Trying to talk with the NPC questgiver gives out an "ERROR: COMMENT_STRING variable has not been set before" error.

Can confirm. Poachers quest from Diathma for me, -9 days remaining in Quest log.
It's not possible to abandon the quest somehow, is it?
