Consoles

It's common knowledge that console companies vet and are picky about what mods you can install (via there own support/systems) so you end up with only milquetoast and superficial mods and few of them. You might be able to get "lol pink horse armor" and "OMEGA ANIME SWORD LOL" mods, but never anything like the heavy mods needed to fill out Bannerlord and overwrite it's flaws.

Where did you see that ? Because surely the one causing problems is Sony not Microsoft who have a rather an open-minded approach.
The current consoles are basically a PC, with the exact same architecture than any desktop you can find, arguably more powerful than most of your PCs right now.

So again, let me ask where did you see that common knowledge, I'm not talking about the Dreamcast or the PS3 era here.

I don't think hardly anyone bought the console version. The overlap of people who own a console but not a PC these days is practically nil, and you can play warband on anything. The console subforum for warband has been dead ever since it got created.

I doubt console Bannerlord will be any different.

Warband definitely released too late, hate it or not but people also judge a game by it's graphical attractiveness before investing time on it, Warband didn't make it for obvious reasons.
Bannerlord, while being a niche game would be vastly different, reading forums here and there, a lot of people are looking forward to finally play this game, there was a lot of hype from console players when the EA kicked in, if anything the way TW delivered their promises can mitigate the hype for some players but I'm sure it can have some success here.

Load Skyrim on you PS3 orPS4 or switch, go install some mods, have fun.... you won't because they're crap or non-existent.

Nobody cares about xbox. Nobody will make mods "just for xbox".

You're missing the point, nobody is going to make mods " just for Xbox ", but you have a high degree of interopability between plateforms now.
So there is a high chance of having a sleek experience betweens mods on PC and consoles, heck the PS3 had a whole different architecture than a PC, it was a very different task, and Sony doesn't like it anyway.

I rather said on my very first message that I was talking about Xbox, you should have a look at the mods available there or read me carefully before talking about this subject.

Nobody really here cares about stuff like this, but yea, of course you´re just telling facts.

Anyone, tell me just one game, one popular game (should we really talk about mod support on "minor" games on consoles which is non existent), that had/has better (if any) mod support on console than on PC, please!

Keep in mind, we´ll need those modders to fix the game. Thanks to all of them or "old" devs from TW working in their spare time. Like the same as modders but next level.

I don´t know a lot about modding, never done it myself (only some xml/txt editing stuff that I don´t call "real modding"). But I´m pretty sure it´s more than set a variable from "Consoles:0" to "Console:1", might be wrong though.

But if I would be a "real modder" I would focus on the "main platform" I play the game on. Xbox Series One X (+Crossplatform, because modding is kind of easy as I´ve read and VERY good money wise for modders)!

The real problem is not only how much mod available, it is still a problem, pc still exceeding xbox on that matter but let's pretend it is not a problem for right now. Will I ever be able to use a third party program on xbox or ps like Mod Organizer 2, Loot or SKSE? If this happens, that would really be great for console players but I do not think so.

Majority of bit more complex mods use Harmony at the moment. Harmony is kinda hack, I really doubt it will be allowed / usable on consoles even if they would be 100% compatible with PC version.

Key cool kids, wanna play M & B the REAL way with your controller and you (crap children eat, do research) oh lemme sip my (drink children drink look up) wow these graphix are (listen to slightly old rap music find new word for sex that white children think means cool). Well, I did not know that. Thank you for the information. We already have community supported launchers like Bannerlord Mod Launcher and BUTRLoader which helps players sort their mods like Loot. I guess they are not at the same level like Loot yet but eventually they will improve. I can not technically say these are a third party program but when I read what they do, they sound like it. I hope Bannerlord will have something like MO2 in the future.

And I did not even mention FNIS and Nemesis which are animation behaviour generators for Skyrim. With these third party program, you can download animation mods and change any animation in the game both for npc and the player or even just the animation of the player.

Body Slide and Outfit Studio, you can customize vanilla body or other body mods or If you know what you are doing, you can add body slides for an armor mod which does not have any body slides files in it. SSEdit, you can change and customize some numbers or lines in the plugins of the mods if you know what you are doing of course. DynDOLOD, you can generate better distant lod for vanilla and also for some mods which add new places in Skyrim.

List goes on and on and these are not available for consoles since they are a third party program. So please do not compare consoles modding with PC, just don't.
