I stumbled upon Warband in 2016 when they released it for PS4. As janky and repetitive as the base game can be it still sank its hooks in deep. I was completely enamored with Warband within the first few minutes and spent hours upon hours of my time playing that game. But believe me Jarl Hopspear when I say: the console version is nothing compared to the PC version (and to a lesser extent the mac). I own Warband on multiple platforms and the computer version is by far the way to go. The controls are much, much better when using a mouse and keyboard (I say this even though I prefer dual analog controllers over M&K), but the real reason that Warband is one of my absolute favorite games of all time is because of the mods! The mods for Warband made this already special game into something unbelievable and you can be certain that Bannerlord will see its share of mods.

Even when they eventually port Bannerlord over to consoles I can't see it holding a candle to the PC version. My mouth almost waters when I consider the modding possibilities for Bannerlord. I am a console guy through-and-through (Playstation being my poison) but even I say: spend the money on a rig, save it up, do what you must and get Bannerlord for PC. It's really the best way to go and who knows how long you'll have to wait before it comes to consoles.

bannerlord on console?
maybe in the next decade like warband ?

They may have announced its pc only for now. But im asking when its for console  it says they will release across all platforms so im assuming a decade again would be somewhat unfair?

It'll most likely be a wait but I doubt it will be THAT long. The console launch of Warband introduced a lot of people (including me) to this game and the good people at TW wouldn't want to miss out on the potential revenue that the console version of Bannerlord will generate. There were reports 3 years ago about how the developers were designing the game with a potential console port in the future in mind. It will come... Not right away... Nor in 10 years... But it will come.

Don't mind lolxd. I kind of get the sense that he's goading you... Just a bit.

I'm guessing they'll probably wait till the EA release on PC is somewhat going strong before they tackle consoles, so Imma guesstimate they start talking more about console beta/release in around 1 year from now.

Though honestly to play any M&B game without modding support is almost sacrilege... if you really care about this game I suggest you start considering building yourself a nice PC, you won't need a beast to run it, you could easily build a mid range PC with a budget of around 1k usd, here's a quick example https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9gdWYT

I think it's worth it.

Ok so a few things
1. 1k is never a small amount, i dont care what western currency you use, i have nil points of any.
2. Building a pc means you need prior knoledge. I have nil points of said knoledge( much kudos to those who do)
3. Thev have daid itll be coming "down the road" i just want to know how long that road is
4. Testing foe consol has to begin at some point. I would very much prefer it to be now lol

Not in any way at all
Luckily the devs seem to be ignoring it anyway
You posted this thread a day ago and now already you're complaining the devs are ignoring you? Meh.

1. definitely a fair point, but you can get decent PCs that can at least run games for less than half that.
2. no; there are tons of ressources online that teach you how to pick parts and put them together. don't dare putting them together yourself? pay a little extra for a shop to do it. don't even dare to pick things yourself? buy a pre-built.
3. Noone knows, probably not even the devs. I'd imagine it being years rather than months though.
4. I doubt there will be a large-scale beta/any other form of large-scale public testing for consoles before full release. It definitely won't be now though, as there has been no hinting at a console version even being worked on (and no, they can't "just use the PC version"; a lot of things need to be adapted (controls, for example)). Expecting a console beta to happen any time soon is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Well, 1k might not be pocket change, but it's not a ridiculous amount either, heck there are graphic cards that cost almost that much by themselves.

Though you could build a good system for less if you're willing to make some sacrifices, like the M2 SSD for instance, getting a regular HDD would cut a good 100 bucks, then you could also drop a generation on the processor and save some on both it and a motherboard, plus the GFX card could be a 1050 TI and still run M&B just fine.

Also putting a PC together is about the most trivial thing you can imagine, it's super easy, you watch one youtube video tutorial and you're good to go.

Think of it this way, you're not just getting a M&B machine, think about the thousands of indie titles you can play only on the PC (which also happen to be dirt cheap), think about all other things you can do on a PC, plus, with modding, you'll be playing bannerlord for years, not months, I have over 800 hours on warband and I'll only stop playing it when Bannerlord comes out.

So it's a worthy investment in my book.

Here's a cheaper build that would still run Bannerlord quite decently https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cTjxZR and this is the full kit too, literally everything you need to run a PC, all the parts, a monitor (though you could hook it up to your TV, if the TV is good enough) and a mouse, around 630 bucks, without monitor, mouse and keyboard it would be around $480.

You can buy used pc parts, then you can get pc even cheaper. For my pc only ssd are new, all other parts i have bought used.
