I'm not sure if I experienced everything this version has to offer yet, but so far, I'm a level 20 character and I was wondering... Can a player conquer towns? can npcs do? is it possible to alter the geo-political aspect of the game? And if so, are there incidences? So far, I haven't seen anything as such, but I would heavily recommend questing for the Vaegirs to conquer the swadians cities and the like, as well as the bursting of new "neutral forces" to conquer cities (river pirates, steppes pirates and dark riders for example) and this could also trigger different stuff... This is just an overall idea that carries a lot of the flavor the game is already immersed with so I thought it just made sense

A. So far, none of those is possible yet. I'm pretty sure that town conquest will be possible since sieges, etc, have been massively suggested and, in my opinnion, would add to the game.

the main issue is to have "standing NPCS" who relay themselves at protecting towns... not too bad, interesting stuff

Sid Meier's Pirates! - a simple, casual, unrealistic, fun pirate game - allows one to sack a city - doing it no lasting harm - and installing a governor of one's choosing.

So, if M&B had that possibility one could install Vaegir counts over former Swadian cities (or vice versa) until one faction were eliminated - if one were into resolving the war, which I for one am not.

However, it's kind of a simple way to loot a city, gain some denars and notoriety, and add to one's list of "Things To Do When In Caladria."

Really, that's what I looking for: new stuff to do.

ya but what if u could just name as count, some of the heroes in your army? you would have to train new heroes every now and then to conquer cities, put them in place with an army giving them the town (you would get lower prices in return) then go to the next town with a new rookie training him on the way through several fights etc etc etc... it would be though because swadian npcs would keep on destroying your counts behind your lines, but if you are lucky and skilled you could probably turn the tides! assuming the npc summoning on the world map is relative to the amount of cities controlled, you would get an advantage in the long run  or wait to see who wins then join an army rofl

I'm pretty sure Armagan said it was up for us to find true life in our own lives... but ya, that girl in Wercheg is just too pretty to be true, we all want a dating system?
