Connection to the server lost (During LB)

Hello i play Napoleonic wars more than 4 months.But after 1.006 patch i have problem with connection during line battles (In native or others servers anything is great).
While i'm playing linebattle at end of round anyone is respawning.And i get freeze for 30 sec - 1 minute after anyone respawn and i get to main menu with Connection to server lost.That's not in every respawn but in many respawns (About 70%).I tried setting settings to low - didn't helped.Also i'm Reinstalled game.

I'm not living in "Jamaica" i'm living in Lithuania my internet is very good (100mb/s),computer runs game on maximum in native or in normal servers.

Before 1.006 patch everything was fine.
In Native anything is working

I'm thinking what the maps like Large desert or others large maps is problem for my pc to respawn during rounds becouse on medium maps line battles works fine.

Please help i really want enjoy line battles

I also am getting this problem, i cant play linebattles because i always end up losing connection to the server after a while of been in the server. I also play in servers like the official EU 1 server and i can play for maybe 30 minutes before i lose connection to that server too.

Have you tried going into Documents/Mount & Blade Warband/Rgl_Config and when there find use_secure_connection and make sure it says that it = 0? You can try this although i have tried this and it didn't seem to work. I hope this gets fixed soon

Hello.

First, start by double checking that your firewall is allowing warband access to the internet etc. If that doesn't work try completely disabling your firewall just to make sure.

If that doesn't work try this: My Documents > Mount&Blade Warband > rgl_config

Open up that file and look for these two lines:

use_secure_connection =
max_number_of_connections =

Try changing the use_secure_connection to 0 if it isn't already.
Also, what does it say your number of max connections is? Try changing the number to 5 or 6 instead.

Hey Moogs, in my rgl_config my use_secure_connection was at 0 but i changed it to 1 and so far i haven't lost connection to a server, but well see 

Edit- As soon as i wrote this i lost connection to the server lol

I just changed max connections to 5 now and have entered a server, i will tell you if i lose connection or not.

Yes in Firewall i have acess to Warband.
In rgl_config are this :
use_secure_connection = 0

max_number_of_connections = 16

I'm gonna play after 30 mins lb if i get problem i will try set to 5 or 6 max_number_of_connections

NOTE: I'm not getting Connection to server lost WHILE playing like Josh i get it while players are respawning (ONLY IN Linebattles In 2/3 ways).In normal public servers than players respawns all is good.

Moogs, so far it looks like by lowering the max number of connections to round about 5 works, i have been in a server for over an hour now and i haven't lost the connection! Fingers crossed

I have been playing for 2 hours and over straight and haven't lost connection once by setting my maximum connections to 5! That must of fixed it then hopefully, thanks for the fix Moogs!

Hi, i have bumped this thread up again because my problem has returned, i yet again lose connection to servers, just now it seems to be more frequent than before

There is a new patch coming out soon, we can only hope that it will fix the problem.

Hopefully the new patch will magic up a fix.

However, a possibility is that it could be to do with your router settings blocking access or generally just being a pain. I've never been a fan of fiddling with my router however it may be worth doing if you are eager to find a solution.

I'm with BT and they are rather helpful when it comes to fiddling around with router settings, therefore I could help you somewhat if you are with the same provider.

Maybe it is a router problem because over on the FSE forums someone replied the same thing, saying that it could be a router problem.

Well, i did fiddle with my router a bit and when i went to play Napoleonic Wars i didn't lose connection at all, and i was playing for like 1 hour and a bit, so maybe i fiddled with the right thing. 

Also, my provider is Virgin Media, and let's hope the next patch sorts everything out.

I would just like to say that i think i have fixed the issue, ever since i enabled load textures on demand i haven't lost connection, i dont know if this has fixed the issue but for now it has.

That probably means you had memory issues that would cause your PC to shut it down when it reached its threshold.
