Congratulations - M&B in PC Gamer UK

I just received the UK version of PC Gamer (issue 150, July 2005), and noticed that they had chosen to feature Mount & Blade in their Downloader section! Mount & Blade received a 1/4 of a page article on page 115, featuring two decidedly unflattering screenshots and also inclusion of the beta on the accompanying DVD.

PC Gamer is the UK's biggest selling games magazine, and recognition of this game by them is certainly something to be very proud of.

Congratulations Armagan and Ipek, and thank you for such an excellent game. If anybody would like a scan of the article, I could provide one a little later.

Pelit(Finlands biggest and most respected gaming magazine) 5.5.2005 also featured an article about M&B in their downloads section praising The originality and combat system

Mass armies, all commanded from one man, not from above, but RIGHT in the battle, imagine takin off heads and tellin your archers to loose some arrows at those bastards. Imagine charging with a full army of 300 heavy knights, imagine.....oh wait, its not a commoercial.......sorry

Congrulation to Developer team of Mount and Blade! I knew that this would become one of biggest of combat game of ancient warriors, as I have desperately seeked for many years. This game is something I have seeked for, even with great potiental this game would become!

So I shall say, let's cheer them with our drinks!

Would it violate copyright laws if it were cited properly? Copyright laws have lots of little workarounds like that, I'm pretty sure quoting one article on a forum wouldn't be illegal. You could always ask PC gamer to post the specific article online... magazines are pretty good about that kindof thing sometiems.

well you need permission if you're going to cite more than 50 words of anyone's text - but yes I imagine if you asked them nicely and said you'd add a link back to their site they might be nice!?
