Hmm you are right, but some of these people are outright trahsing my mod by saying it will never be completed and other rubbish.

They have seen tons of thread announcing unbelieveable mods already so I wouldn't wonder about it.

I agree with Lord Tim. Do it step by step. Probably most important do the first step to have something in hands before you post your idea. The more time you spent with modding the more you learn and the more ideas on how to accomplish things you'll have. It's always good if you can prove them wrong with a simple screenshot or a list of things that have been done already.

Anyways, the concept isn't really my thing, and I'm not a Warband modder, but if I could help you with anything, it'd be my pleasure.
It is why we have this great forum.

Yes, but my point is that if you do those things first, you won't be able to work with new items and/or new troops with new items in these quests. Otherwise you'll have to redo them if you want to use them afterwards.
Anyways, if you weren't planning to use new items or troops in these quests, you're free to do as you like

Come one guys, just let it be. If he makes the mod progress we shall see somth someday. For now all trolls to bed

I advice you to start making the items first, because screenshoots are the thing that attract most users and helpers. and it may seem very hard at the beggining, but as you make more models, it will get easier.

I use wings3d, but I don't model too much, some people use blender too.
you'll need open.brf anyway

When I first discovered M&B, I had a very similar idea. I was thirteen years old at the time, and have since realized what an utterly idiotic idea it was, especially considering that I had absolutely no idea how to mod anyways.

I've come to the conclusion that I wouldn't really like that mod anyways. It's an awful idea, truly.

Good luck to you.

After you've gotten the fundamentals down, if you have some coding skill or a good coder on the team, you could consider implementing some of Oblivion/Morrowind's features that really helped to enliven the world (being able to pick all kinds of things up and pick pockets etc). That however is a tall order. Do like others have said and take things one step at a time.

It is ok to start work on quests, but it will be hard to finish them until you've got all your other basic features into the mod. Making "epic" quests is definitely not an easy task.

I would recommend looking at the tutorials on these forums and acquiring some other modding skills. Developing more skills will really help to speed your mod along and will provide a very solid foundation for a modding team.

Uh... this is not a good subject for a mod.  Bethesda does not like people appropriating their IP.

Make up your own world, it's not that much harder than everything else you want to do here*

aside from the having to know how to make original art, develop a real game design, and basically build a AAA product in your spare time, lol

If you meet negative critasism with this attitude then you wont get too far.

About your mod, any eldarscrolls mod would be awfull with the m&b singleplayer campagne system it just wouldnt be eldarscrolls just another warband mod with a slightly different theme :???:. Warbands combat and realism + eldar scrolls everything else would be nice in my humble opinion .

Good Luck , I hope the negative critasisms compel you to finnish

Yes but it has been a week and you have not shown any work at all. Most mods already pumped out lots of stuff within three days. That leads me to believe that you are not taking this mod seriously, just like before.

A great idea I am a M&B and a Elder Scrolls fan and I am pretty good at the lore but I can't mod unfortunately though I want to help and I have some pretty crazy (in the good sense ) ideas.
