I agree with "taleworlds" assertion that the gameplay of Mount&Blade is addictive, and although I would like to see the gameplay improved upon the graphics are where I place most of my concern.

I am seriously concidering purchasing the game, however I would like to know if the following issues will be addressed.

The exterior invironment has very little in the way of vegitation. The trees are sparse and there is no 2d grass effects at any distance. Are these features on the art and programmings teams TODO list?

The indoor environments have No, let me repeat, No props. I would concider the countertops of the bar a prop but these are part of the main building elements. Is this a planned feature as well?

Please keep in mind that these are mearly comments of constructive critique from a potential customer.

You have my thanks,
Reavera

This is a war torn land. The trees are lucky to survive much less prosper, as far as indoor decorating, well even the women have given up on the potted plants due to the constant raping and pillaging by the Dark Knights. I'm just joking around of course but this game is unique and fun because of the horses. Couched lance damage is a kick in the shorts.

Bear in mind that this is an unfinished beta and that probably those details you mention come under "finishing touches." Combat and like gets 1st priority...
We'd know more for sure, however, Armagan refuses to post his "to do list"

There are some mods which enhance various aspects of the in-game graphics. Have a look here.

Check out Cataphracts work here, I believe this gives us a glimpse of how good the game will be when finished.

Perhaps the answer is, patience young Jedi.....

EDIT: By the way you might want to have a look through the forum before you post, as there was already a thread on graphics here, just a bit down the page:

I appologise for the quick post. I have been to many forums where people get irritated by posting without looking. Having to answere the same question again and again can get tiresome. However untill recently I never really understood why people would post without looking. I recently started college and have found that I must eye my time carefully and pooring through page after page of possible posts can be time consuming. Add to that list of time consumptions a 5 month old child and a job and all of a sudden you want info now, and without the effort. Again I appologise for the inconvenience.

I will take a look at the mods as you suggested. I am glad to know that, if the developers can not find the time to finish aspects that "some" of the community finds important, the community can come through in the end.

all that vegetation gets in the way of my charging warhorse and my band of arrow eating knights

Indeed, it is a beta bursting at the seams with 'to-do' lists. I hate to see what armagan really looks like now - i have an image of a scruffy, unshaven, baggy eyed, pale skin and malnourished man hunched over the keyboard, muttering imcomprehensibly...

if you think the game's any good now, i suggest you dough up the 12$ now  when the game's graphics meets your expectations, it will cost you double!

hehe...
