If you are like me consistently checking SteamDB' Bannerlord page, Taleworlds added a new package named complementary reviewer package yesterday. It probably isn't that surprising but it also suggests that some kind of promotion of the game will happen in March. At least major media will get a chance to play the SP first and post reviews.

I hope this is not something that is given to youtubers but more to magazines or proper review websites to review.

I don't want an early access to an early access just because you have a popular youtube account.

based on the feedback I have seen on the forums, TW is rightfully preparing for a storm of bad reviews

Anyone who thinks the game will be finished 31 of march should have read the steam page that said early access.

Idk, there are some youtubers I would like to see review the game that I think would be better than official publications, but I'm sure places like PCGamer will get the copy if anyone is.

thats not gna stop people from leaving bad reviews. IMO they should just make the next phase a paid beta access, if that's even possible, and avoid letting the steam reviews happen until they have a more finished product

I expect full VR compatibility by April 1st or I'm refunding.
You're gonna refund the EA, Early Access, which means the game is unfinished, and TW hasn't said anything to my knowledge of VR for bannerlord, Bannerlord EA is literally one day berfore april 1st and its gonna take about a year till the game is fully released, if you can't wait or are going to be upset if the EA doesn't have a mechanic you wan't don't buy it

Just means those people are stupid ?

Thanks for the heads up buddy!

While i agree partly, i don't agree giving early access to people beforehand because they happen to have a youtube channel. Especially if they are not even review channels.

We have all waited for the same game.

not really sure what your point is, calling them stupid wont change their reviews
But they're still stupid though ? ?

exactly this **** right here is why the reviews will be bad... the "boo hoo we waited 10 years for warband 2" is still the strongest meme associated with TW. will be too tempting for people to finish that sentence with "only to get a game thats worse than the original"

Relax, many games have been bombarded during EA (rightfully) for being bad, and then have come out after a few years of adding content and polishing to have very positive reviews after full release. The negative reviews won't last forever, if they happen at all.

I'm just of the opinion that it doesnt need to happen at all, if it can be avoided. no telling how TW would react to a swath of bad reviews, with their new corporate structure

I'm pretty confident that, if no server scandal happens, and that if SP isn't broken af, Bannerlord would get above %75 positive review rating even during the first weeks of EA.

You are right, I'm talking about some review channels and some old mount&blade channels

I'm inclined to not take reviews seriously, because it's just an EA title for now.
Reviews may or may not be biased by the long wait, so I would totally pay to find it out by myself.
