complete shut down of mount & Blade

i dont know what is going on my pc meets all system requirments i have purchased the full version.i start playing a saved game from the .632 version and after a battle it goes to the item screen and then after you capture all your foe's it shuts down and goes back to the desktop.

I'm running windows xp 512 mb of ram and directX9 installed on my PC 2.8ghtz. Any sugestions?

Which version of M&B are you using? Latest is .702

Does this occur when you start a new game too, or only from the save? Could be a corrupted save
