Complete and Utter Noob Thread

I don't know anything about anything. And even less about making my own mod.
But I'm more than willing to learn how to. If only someone would have the time and
patience for my endless questions.

Q.1 Firstly, is there a list of all necessary programs I need to use to make a completely new mod?

A.1 You need the module system:

I'm quite new to the stuff too but I know some of the basics so I'll try to answer your questions as long as I know the answers.

Answer to your first question:
You need the module system:http://www.taleworlds.com/download/mb_module_system_1010_0.zip
and Python:http://www.python.org/download/

Read the Module System Documentation> getting Started thread to find out how to set up the module system and Python

the link in my sig is the most up to date tutorial on the module system.  It's quite long, but I suggest going through that to get you started.

If you are this eager and willing, then this shouldn't be too bad.  Don't skim, and follow the steps.  I'm sure that once you're done, you'll have some new questions....
