I think that's already been answered but it's actually rather easy.
Open the file skills.txt, each line after the first looks like that (2nd line as example):
skills.txt 说:
skl_trade Trade 19 10 Every_level_of_this_skill_reduces_your_trade_penalty_by_5%%._(Party_skill)
The red 10 is the maximum level. I don't know if this works for each skill but it should be save game compatible. If you export and import your character the skills get capped at 10 again (I think I know how to fix that but it's labor intensive) and you still need the necessary base stats for it.

It might be possible but not as a simple tweak.

Correct, you get that answer if your relation with the lord you're talking to is -10 or below and if you are not part of a rebel faction.

this will allow you to talk to any lord of the faction you betrayed and pay them tribute for peace, without restoring your oath

an error message will appear on the left hand side of the screen (the bit where kills and damage are displayed) but its nothing, this does work and is save game compatible


why i cant restore my oath he always say "no. there is no chance of of peace between us"

I've played this game for years. The campaign AI has pretty much remained the same since it was first expanded back when it was just Vaegirs and Swadia and the other factions were introduced. AI lords and factions still make the same stupid decisions; opening war up on multiple fronts, going across enemy territories to raid castles unreachable and so on.

Anyhow, I used TweakMB to fix up my campaign in Warbands. I reduced the max size of AI parties, tweaked the amount of money you get from towns, etc. What I'd like to do instead of all those tweaks, is to decrease the chance that Factions invade and attack each other.

Do you guys know if it is possible to tweak this? Basically I'd like to change the percentage chance that one faction declares war on another. Basically I want to reduce the likelyhood of the factions going to war with each other. I know its possible since some Mods have multiple factions that remain friendly to each other. Some of the older mods (like 100 years war mod) even suffered from the condition that the two factions didn't attack each other for a while. So there must be some way to set that in Native in warbands.

Anyhow, I really would appreciate the help.

Hello, I'd like to ask if it's possible to increase the size of army icons on world map, or increase the army size indicator so it's easier to notice them.

I checked on the script (randomly_start_war_peace) and it is rather complicated.
It checks the number of resources (number of cities and castles), the number of armies and the number of active wars for each kingdom and how "tempting" the other kingdoms are (generation is similar) and creates a chance to make war or peace.
The script is executed every week so the easiest way to change it is to change the frequency.

The numbers can be different but open simple_triggers.txt and search for 168.000000. The line above should begin with 32.000000, the one below with 5.000000.

168 is the number of hours in game time that the trigger is executed (7 days) so if you increase it war and peace change less often and if you reduce it changes in power result in faster declaration of war or peace.

The script is about 170 lines long and I don't know enough to change that.

An example would be like a mounted Swadian Footman.

Without doing it I can only say
Yes, you only need to change one of the numbers, I think you need to add 1024 to the first number in the last row but can be very wrong.

I don't have the right tool but if nothing else changed from M&B you need to increase the number by 1024 (from 36700160 to 36701184).
But isn't there a troop editor for Warbands already?
 
Is there any way to change where the companions start? Don't want to run around all towns to find them all, and since they change place after a while, it is quite frustrating. Remember there being this option in Custom Commander mod but I'm using a different mod now.

Also, is there any way to make hte merchants in town have more items on them? Arms merchant has more weapons and shield on him etc.

Moving the heroes around is handled by a script that is triggered every 15 days. I think it's the second lowest line, it should start with 360.000000
Increase that number so that heroes stay longer at one place. As the same trigger is also responsible for the reappearance of heroes (after you fired them or whatever) so you shouldn't make the time frame too long.

Making it so that they appear only in some cities is also possible but complicated.

The first line is for the armor sellers
If I remember correct the program has a base number of items for each type and so adds or removes some.
The blue colored numbers in the first line stand for 16 body armor, 16 head armor, 8 foot armor and 4 hand armor. change these numbers and the number of items in an armor sellers inventory will also change over time.

The second line is for the weapon sellers
The weapon sellers are similar, the green colored numbers stand for 5 onehanded weapons, 5 twohanded weapons, 5 polearms, 6 shields, 4 bows, 3 crossbows, 5 thrown weapons, 2 bags of arrows and 2 bags of bolts.

Both triggers are executed every 24 hours so you can also change that if you want faster or slower change.
 
How do you change path-finding skill to give you 6% increase of speed instead of just 3%? Got only a small party of soldiers but even with 10 in path-finding, travel speed decreases way to much IMO
