Is it possible to add view of individual hero's morale to party menu? So you can see list of your heroes and their morale - e.g. "Borcha - 99"?
As I understand it, there's no individual morale, but one morale for all of your troops.

Only thing where it might be individual is when companions don't get along with each other, but I don't think that's a morale thing. It reduces morale though, for all your troops.
Yes it is, you can view their individual morale by hovering the mouse cursor over their face in the conversation window.

Is there anyway to make the back of the heraldry armor match the front? I mean if I have a white banner I dont really want a green back...

Really? I thought that was their disposition toward you.

That's for all other NPCs. For companions in your party it specifically says morale and gives appropriate descriptions assigned to the numerical values.

Indeed sir.

i was pissed off with the disrespect a lord of my faction was showing me and short of beating the living crap out of him in innumerable duels, i decided to loot his village, but i couldnt loot villages of your own factions, so here it is, however useful it may or may not be...

I got fed up with the stupidly low amounts of tax you get from villages/castles/towns so i started digging.

I found what i needed in simple_triggers.txt

The three red numbers are the base values for each type, 500 for village, 250 for castle and 1000 for towns.
The prosperity is a value between 0 - 100 indicating the prosperity of the settlement.
The calculation is like this : (Base Value * (Prosperity + 10)) / 110
So by this calculation a very rich town gets 1000 * (100 *  10) / 110 = 1000 coins per week.

So increasing the red values translates to a direct increase in coins you get in tax per week. You can also play with the green numbers to make the prosperity count more or less.
ie. Set the 10 to 0 and 110 to 1 and prosperity 0 gives 0 coins while prosperity 100 gives base * 100 cons.

I started a topic in "The Forge - Mod Development", but it seems no one knows anything about the game speed settings. I found information about cheats in menus.txt. I think CTRL+F9 Slow Motion hack can be arranged to any speed prefered. But I don't know which number represents speed variable. Maybe someone can help.

i like to add some challenge to the game, especially to the recruiting of villagers

is there a way to make recruiting only possible if the village belongs to yourself?
types of people you get should be still depended on the initial type, and not the faction.

also how can i modify the normal recruiting to have an effect to my relations to the village and lord that owns it?
so it would function like a kind of forced recruitment!

great tips

somehow i ruined my game though lol.
(i replaced all edited files with orginals and i still have issues so i dunno, error could easily be built into my save now though)

That or steam did, i recall loading the game about a week - two weeks ago and steams game update window flashed through which i thought was weird, assumed there wasn't going to be a patch until after the expansion. so i loaded the game and my wine @ tavern was back to 1000 and tounament bets were default etc... checked the files and sure enough most hacks were back to default (whole files back to default, not portions) so i re-edited them... dunno what caused it.
I might of left out a hack and maybe that didn't jive with my save game that expected x y and z hack but I only reintroduced x and z hack so whatever was going on with y screwed it .

the world may never know.

My error (so far that i noticed):
all fights except my own lead sieges are staged in a castle, i am on the inside and i am allowed horses.
enemy is on the outside and they are limited to no horses.

When i am leading a Siege the tower is embedded into the ground a bit so the whole thing just kind of shakes, the wheels wiggle a bit and the unit never moves.

I agree with you.  I've been thinking about doing that but could not find any information on it anywhere.
There was a similar question asked way back, but the answer from the MageLord was that you need to use
the module system (of course you need to understand how to use it).
I hope someone will figure this out.

The Mage Lord,
I was just wondering if this has actually been updated (the main topic post). The list seems to have been the same since November 2008.

Anyone,
Does anyone think they could make a program (like a really simple one), to edit the text files using a graphical interface, i.e. like the troop editor or item editor? Just a suggestion that may be useful. It could incorporate all the current tweaks!

Is there anyone change the prize when won the tournament yet?

In the code of change renown if win no 1000 in it.

except renown I want to change winner prize because 1k seem to less.

Hi... we've been wondering about what we would have to do to give archers in the arena a back up weapon. Like a quarter staff, or shorts sword?

Thats stored in mission_templates.txt. Find mst_arena_melee_fight arena_melee_fight. There should be big block of numbers, the first three lines being:
58 0 4112 447 16 1 5  12 18 17 42 28
1 4112 447 16 1 2  3 42
2 4112 447 16 1 4  3 17 42 28
That first number (5:cool: is just the number of lines to follow, so ignore that for the first line. The red number is how many items the unit has. The blue numbers right after that are the items, stored in numerical order. The way you figure out which items are which is open up item_kinds.txt in a program that shows you the line numbers on the side (like notepad2) and check the item by line number. The formula to translate the number to the line number is: (#+1) x 3, so the first item in our list here (12) is on line number 39 (12+1 = 13, x3 = 39). Then go into item_kinds and find number 39, which is a practice bow. I'll leave it up to you to figure out exactly which lines in that big long list of 58 are which, but 12 = bow so if you find all instances of that you should find all the archers.

So if you want to add something, just find the item you want, note the line it's on, translate it into the item number, add it to the list, and add 1 to the red number so it reads the new item.

Can you tell, what each grey number means, please?
