So..... I think what you are saying is go into any town and enter the arena and ask the arena master where the next tournament is being held and he will tell you.

Hay ummm.... is there a mod that you can change the armor/weapons etc. thay you are CURRENTLY wearing or make the item in your inventory????? Thank You!  :lol:

The item editor will change the characteristics of the items, including those in your inventory  It won't replace them or add new ones.  You can make all bastard swords do 50 damage, including your bastard sword, but you can't replace yours or give yourself a great sword.

So that's the tweak that does that? I was wondering about that. Oh, and you don't need to control alt delete, you can just tab out of the area (I think; either that, or you can leave by going to the edge, at which point a "leave area" option should appear).
 
Tabbing didn't work, but I literally just hit myself in the forehead for not thinking to ride to the edge of the area and leave it that way.  :oops:

If you don't understand the question, I mean at the training camps it says to select a maximum of four companions to train with. I'm wondering if we could unlock that number and select say 100? I was also wondering if it is possible to select for a second group which will fight with you. If not thats fine.
 
Hi, MageLord, I have a question.
Now, we know that we can increase the number of troops we can have.
Then, is there any way to unlock the limit on the types of troops you have?
What I mean is, for example, when you have certain number of calvary, you cannot add more calvary of different kind into your party because you already have reached the maximum number of troops of a specific kind already.

Hope you understood what I mean by that.

This is annoying because sometimes, you cannot even upgrade your soldiers becuase of the maximum reached.

Just a suggestion:
I like "give troops to friendly lord" tweak. It would by nice to modify it to "sell troops to friendly lord" or "give troops and make lord happier". Probably un-tweakable, but I like the idea.
Exchanging prisoners would be nice too... :smile:
 
I'd like a request for a tweak, smth  m sure its tweakable..

adjust the amount of relation points earned/lost when you let go/capture a lord
 
Is there a way to change how fast your party moves on the world map? It's really annoying when you have such a large army that moves so slow...

Thats stored in mission_templates.txt. Find mst_arena_melee_fight arena_melee_fight. There should be big block of numbers, the first three lines being:

That first number (5:cool: is just the number of lines to follow, so ignore that for the first line. The red number is how many items the unit has. The blue numbers right after that are the items, stored in numerical order. The way you figure out which items are which is open up item_kinds.txt in a program that shows you the line numbers on the side (like notepad2) and check the item by line number. The formula to translate the number to the line number is: (#+1) x 3, so the first item in our list here (12) is on line number 39 (12+1 = 13, x3 = 39). Then go into item_kinds and find number 39, which is a practice bow. I'll leave it up to you to figure out exactly which lines in that big long list of 58 are which, but 12 = bow so if you find all instances of that you should find all the archers.

So if you want to add something, just find the item you want, note the line it's on, translate it into the item number, add it to the list, and add 1 to the red number so it reads the new item.

I just started to do this. Its not so hard but from line 651 and the heraldic surcoat the lines mess up and you cant divide the numbrs to get a ful number. Next item is at 655, 659 and 662,...

662/3=220,6666666 How do I calculate the numbers now to change the arena fighter equipment? I round them up?

This is not working. I added just to try byrne itm line 609/3=203 - 1 =202 So I added number 202 instead of 42 which is  Arena tunic red and its not working.

It should add a itm_arena_sword to the archers and nothing.

Whenever I try this tweak:

to decrease the moral hit per unit, my game silently crashes to desktop before the main menu loads. I am using version 1.010 (Steam). I know the first red number is 45 with my version, and I tried to make the divider 1 and 2 (haven't tried anything else) with the same results. Returning the script to default allows the game to load again.

Is there an updated version of this tweak for 1.010?
 
I'm thinking that some of these tweaks aren't savegame compatible, at least not with games created with the Steam version (1.10).  I did the cattle-following tweak and the one that adjusts ransoms according to the rank of the prisoner.  The game plays fine for a while, then the graphics go to hell, first with unreadable blocky text and then with bizarro textures.  Is it even possible that tweaking a text file or two would cause this?

I don't think that these tweaks would cause anything like that. It's probably an issue with your graphics card or you may have some corrupt game files.
