Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor

I did play the game and didnt really expect this but it sucks and certainly not worth 30 bucks.
Singleplayer is too short, too easy and i dont know why the hell they did that but you get to command 3-4 troops at a time (and only 1 in many missions) which wont die. yeah, you click a button and revive fallen squad members. No resource management, no points to capture, no producing stuff, no ****; only 3 missions each in 3 campaigns which you finish in about 2 hours.
And God, the watered-down Direct Control! Its plain stupid.
At the end it feels like an arcade game which would be worth 5 bucks.

I liked the original and I need to buy the new one but I'm on at my parents to allow me to buy a 360.

Tales of Valor isn't worth $30. It seems more like a $5-$10 DLC than a stand-alone expansion. There was a deal somewhere for all 3 CoH games for $40, which would've been worth it, but just ToV on its own for $30 is ridiculous.

Relic Entertainment took SOHWW2 point-shoot feature and implemented in COH? Sounds interesting, a RTS with that feature instead of in a RTT. Seeing how it is so difficult to kill someone in COH, I wonder if you must unload a whole clip on someone to kill 'em.

Nah. Aside from range issues with the thompson, I didn't see any problems. Pretty much what you would expect (one or two clicks per person).

And I like it and think it was worth the 30 bucks. Of course, I am mostly a fan of the new Operation Stonewall, since that is always what I ended up doing in skirmish mode anyway.

Bought it the other day, just waiting on delivery, only cost me £17.99 so I can't really argue. Although not known for their attention to historical authenticity, I've still enjoyed them nevertheless, and this direct control feature certainly sounds interesting.

I might buy in the CoH Anthology (all 3 games) for £29.99, I think it's worth it. Only problem is that it is released on the 24th...
