Companions Stuck

Kay...A bunch of my companions are stuck in a Swadian dungeon. I am now at peace with the Swadians.

Is there any way to get them out other than beating the **** out of the prison guard and all his friends?

Well you could also cause a conflict with the Swadians.  Extort denars from one of their caravans, then go take the castle.

:/ So my options are

a) Wait a long time until I'm able to siege the town (I'm poor and only about level 6 now), or

b) Shell out a -lot- of money for them. Or,

c) Break them out (Seemingly very difficult)

Pay the ransom broker and they will be freed and rejoin you over several days.

If you tell the nearest village to light a fire then go to the castle/town. Beat down the prison guard quick and run inside fast. When you pop out there will only be 1 or 2 soldiers to kill and they usually up on the walls watching the fire so you can take them out seperately.(ive only done this while rescuing lords, never companions but i dont see how it would be different).
