This also just happened when fighting a group of looters while standing on Gainseth.

2. Do you have them in an odd group? Like Groups 5-8? Because it is a known issue that they spawn those groups in oddball locations on village maps, but having it happen in bandit hideouts would be new to me.

It's been happening in hideouts and towns, too!

It does happen in the hideouts too. I had it happen.

I have them set to group 8.

That's the cause. It happens with high groups also in the settlement maps. Not sure if it is bug or feature but it's in the alpha since release.

Yeah it typically causes those units to spawn right in the middle of bandits and they go down in seconds.
