Companions, Slavers and Mounts

I recently installed Floris 2.53 and am loving it. But i didnt notice that 2.54 is the latest version.
So is there any way to update or do i have to install the whole floris version 2.54?

Q2. I also read that ticking that option to disable companion complaints in 2.54 also prevents them from leaving. Is it true?
If so does it also prevent the morale of companions from falling as a result of hiring all companions?

Q3. Does freelancer allow me to join bandit party or mercenary or manhunter party?

Q4. Is there any way to get Slavers except rescuing them from bandits?

Q5. In the cheat menu i found a few mounts like chicken, deer, wolf etc having 11 riding requirement. But riding cant go above 10 can it? I lvled myself up using cheats but my riding maxed out at 10. So how are you supposed to ride those mounts?

2 yes it should now prevent them from leaving but i'm not sure about morale

3 No it does not..You can however join a lord's party

4 Not that i know of

5 You aren't supposed  to ride them but if you know how to edit them you can lower the requirements so you can ride them but many of them don't animate well when riding
