Resolved Companion's party I elected to have join my Army glitched in a city

I ran into a city just a second before the party that was set to join my army arrived, thinking no big deal they'll catch up as soon as I recruit some extra troops. As I leave, they're glitched out forever running into the city. I tried removing them from the army, waiting, and having them rejoin but they are forever glitched.
