Should I be investing points into Persuasion for a Companion that I want to send out as an emissary on missions to get me more RtR?  Also, are there any skills that I should be giving them if I'm grooming for Lordship later on?

I don't think that persuation afects the RtR missions

To "express my goodwill as one monarch to another"?  Yea, Persuasion helps with that.  I'm always confused, I feel like people are always asking Diplomacy mod questions on this main board...maybe it's because I got Diplomacy so quickly after getting Native that I never really realized all of Native's features.

First just wanted say played native for almost year. And I had yirma with persuasion 6
It didn't help me with the from one king to another.  But then again I started a queen domain
And diplomacy adds a lot great things. But this quest he talking about is in native.
Also how good is your relationship with the faction and king you are sending companion to. So if you send to the swandians and only have like 5 relationship and 21 rtr.  Not much your embassies mission can do successfully.
