Companions do not develop trading skill while operationg a caravan.

Been using all 7 of my companions in caravans and none of them gained even a single point in trade, where the rest of the skills seem to be working fine (for exaple weapon skills or medical). Is that a bug or do i do something wrong?

How many points do they have in the SOC attribute? If it's too low, they can't level up in the Charm, Leadership, and Trade skills. If they have enough attribute points in the other areas, they will level up just fine in the skills controlled by those attributes.
