Resolved Companions already busy, even after disband

Had my companions doing caravans. I was not part of any kingdoms. When I disbanded their caravans, they randomly spawned in settlements. After I got them back, I could not assign them as a party, or use them for anything.

I had the same happen to my former caravan master.

Edit: I can still send him out on missions, just not to form a party.

ok, for me, I could not assign them on missions. Maybe because they were not qualified for them, I didn't notice.

I got this same bug in version 1.2 - I disbanded a caravan and wanted to use that companion to create a party, but it still says they are busy with something. I kicked them out of the clan and rehired them, but they were still busy doing something so I had to get rid of them permanently and hire a brand new companion to create the party.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files.
