Resolved Companion/Wife Issues in 1.5.0

Whenever i enter a town, My companions show as still traveling to said town. This means i cannot send my companions on quests and my wife is never in town so cannot get kids. I have waited in town for up to 15 days and my companions never show as they are in the town just Traveling to said town. I didn't have this issue until 1.5.0 went live. Dont know if i'm just unlucky or if this is a bug.

K, here is part of what your asking for, I do not use any mods (straight vanilla), Here are some of the towns/cities and villages with quests.
First 3 are when i entered Poros and after 5 days waiting in Poros. The next 2 are from the village Canoros, showing they my companions are still traveling and cannot be used in the Deliver the herd quest. Then went to Ispantar, and the same issue but with the bandit base quest. ( ).

Checked this in my game: vs 1.5.0, no mods. I'm in Sanala, but my accompanying family and companions are all "Travelling to Sanala". If you can't get your wife pregnant on the march, I'm in for an heirless life! .... And here I snagged Arwa, the Wonder Woman! Maybe I oughta stay out of the game until this is fixed!

Understand completely, i'm taking a short break due to this issue because i dont want to waste time without the ability to get heirs.

Dude nice find, Playing in 1.4.3 I get childrens, but since 1.5 and 1.5.1, My wife Alijin stop having babies, same like you, In the party status never is holding in the City.
The first childres were conceived during campaing days.

this would explain why in my 1.5.1 campaign my wife has never become pregnant. Does setting here up as a party leader and then disbanding it causing her to stay at a friendly settlement fix this at all?

When you say you can not get them to do a quest, I've not actually asked my companions to do any quests in 1.5.1 yet. does it let you select the option to have a companion do a quest but when you get the list of which ones to use they are all greyed out?

The option to send a companion is greyed out. Its like you do not have any companions.

Thats the way its always been for me in this game. However with 1.5.0 went live my problems started. Didnt get worried until i couldnt get my wife pregnant. Maybe my character is sterile and my companions are on strike. I dont know.

I’m more worried about factions not implementing policies tbh, never played a campaign long enough for a kid to grow out.

I have an update in this issue.
after becoming a vessel of a kingdom when my party (companions and family member) are now listed as Waiting in [settlement name] instead of it saying Travelling to [settlement name].

i now test to see if my wife falls pregnant while we wait in the town
