I tried using the search function but I didn't find any useful results for this situation, so I am wondering if anyone knows the answer.
Here's the sequence of events:
- While pledged to Swadia, I was defeated and held prisoner for a while by the Khergits. In addition 2 of my companions were imprisoned, in different locations.
- After being freed, but before rescuing my companions, I revoked my oath to Swadia and became independent.
- I freed one companion, but before I could get to Ymira's location, the Swadians took it over (presumably freeing/hiring the prisoners).
So my question is, is Ymira gone forever? The traveler NPCs don't know where she is, and I have checked with every Swadian nobleman I could find and none of them have her in their army; I thought maybe they had hired her like they hire other prisoners to be in their armies. It isn't a big deal as she's not very useful really, but I am wondering if this is a bug or she's just hiding in some nobleman's army somewhere. Would be weird if I could end up taking her prisoner myself that way.
