Campions are so dependent on the hero. It would be very nice to see some options at least to turn on and make them a bit more self-sufficient. Like ability to select gear after battles, like in the original. Or ability to find the Hero again after escaping or being released/ransomed. Or even upgrading their own gear when on their own as a party leader/lord in your kingdom, etc. A little less forced micromanagement would be great for those who would enjoy those options.
