I sent a companion on the quest to deal with the bandit camp near a village. The quest said they'd be back in 10 days but they have not returned. The quest was moved to "old quests" but I did not get any indication, as far as I know, that they failed the quest. There's no indication of that on the quests screen. Moreover, the companion that I sent is still in my clan and is listed as HOLDING.
