Will this work in POP?  http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,57607.0.html
Since POP dont enhance animations

Try at own risk. If nothing happens immediately, fine.

PoP wasn´t tested with or for anything. So there´s no reference to what´s compatible and what not.

May it be tweaks or modifications - Use them at own risk and don´t come crying if it wrecks your gaming experience or something unitentioned happens.

Thank you.

I'm also using them without any problems.

Anyone know why there aren't more mods that add animations? It makes combat look and feel so much better!

Its a matter of taste i guess.
In some mods with new animations the fight feels somehow.... weired for me.
Also i got the feeling that some animations got a little delay/makes me some movements slightly slower.

Maybe i am just a little unflexible^^.

One of the overhead bashes looks flashier but it takes twice as long before the hit connects, giving you (or the enemy) ample time to double slash you.

actually, i use that when charging into combat on foot, that anim somehow boosts your atteck power by about 20% once it connects. or maybe it's just me

Thirded  Anims are great, but the shield one is kinda weird, and doesn't block arrows too well.

It´s sometimes really annoying, especially when you´re not accustomed or prepared for surplus animations but know the swing swing chop attitude by heart. I thought a couple of times wtf is this enemy doing and wth is my swing coming from the wrong side?

But once you´re accustomed to it, they are great. Especially the 2 handed animations, using the blunt part blade to stab and block - AWESOME.

Very good question. Also the fall-off-horse animation tends to slow down for me, leading to the enemy doing bullet time when his horse goes down.

I haven't tried removing any, but the installation of the additional animations is quite simple.  If that's what anyone is seeking, I can post the steps.

Sure, that would be cool

*This only works if you put it into a mod with the normal animations - if your mod has any special animations of its own, this will likely cause issues.*

1 - Download https://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?cid=10&id=1115

2 - Open / extract the zip file somewhere.

3 - Go INTO the Animations Compilations Mod 0.3 folder.

4 - Copy the Resource folder over the resource folder in any mod you want the animations for.  It will not overwrite any files unless you've already got one named "new_animations.brf"

5 - Copy the actions.txt file into the module folder for any mod you want the animations for.  It will overwrite one file.  If it doesn't, you picked the wrong folder.

6 - Edit your module.ini for the mod you are using.  (Use notepad)
-The only thing you need to do is add a new line saying "load_module_resource = new_animations" (without the quotes) to the very end of the .ini file.

7 - Play your mod.
