Nice interview. About Oli, I think that he is a good player in general. He has game sense and enought knowledge to play at high level but when it comes to a high level match against top infantry, you can see that he isn't as much confident as he is when plays against "lower" teams and end up turtuling and playing too passive. That's my personnal point of view mostly based on matches against him.

There's good reasons for it. If you've ever played and felt like you couldn't fully rely on your team to net the kills, you start value that you stay alive yourself a lot more (staying alive longer = a bigger chance of the enemies overextending, granting 'free' kills). The times I've played with teams that's been in top 3 teams the past year (old RF, IR etc.), I can go all-out to my hearts content. I can't rely on everyone in IG to always do this though (if I could, we'd be in the top 3 ). With that being said, I'm not calling out IG to be bad, rather that we're not good enough against the top teams to make me feel confident for my team's sake. If you watch the merc-video with RF against AE on Verloren, you wouldn't call me a passive player

? You played really passive there, not really a criticism but still...

There's a difference between stupid offensive (not watching your surroundings, try to swing when you shouldn't) which is called being reckless or taking risks, and safe offensive (which is to try and push your advantage, and make the opponents play your game - fight on your terms, withouh taking the chance of being shot or hit in the back) which is called playing tactically and teamworking!

If being offensive is rushing past everyone and risk being shot/hit/stabbed in the back, then I disagree - that's called being stupid.  Taking risks is not being offensive, it's called gambling - go play poker instead That was how I played @ 0m43s in the closed-map video, I gambled on being able to win any 1v2 I could find - and I did set up a kill, but it showed to be very much so not worth it - that's called gambling!

I don't see Rempica play significantly more aggressive than Oliveran did in those videos (and many people can tell you that Rempica is like a pitbull on a leash), so I don't know what you're basing your definition of passive or aggressive on.

You don't? Rempica would rush someone and try to kill 1v1 as fast as he can (and he can) and then switch. Oli relies more on teamplay (you don't see many solo moves on close maps). It's a different style of play that's all

He is and stop being mean to people, if you don't want them to be mean to you. It depends on how you perceive an infantry, but let's talk about match performance. He's such a complete and solid package that I would personally rate him one of the best infantry in the community, while Bendetto even forgot to put him on his list at first. A lot of people just didn't notice it, since he usually commands and that affects your gameplay in a negative way.

agreed with that, earlier I wrote that some players cant show us they full force - because team where they play low or middle lvl. And when they play vs top teams like AE KURWA, they cant do anything. For this video I see that Oli one of the best in EU    but cant add BP now xD You need to join top team wtf
