Gonna make  myself a bit clearer. Everyone stop immediatly. This forum thread is one of the rare which is not full of drama so I would like to keep it as it is. If you really enjoy what I'm doing, keep your bull**** out of there. Thank you.

Good stuff Tardet!

Just glanced at your list of people you'd like to interview. As far as the NA people on the list, I'm not sure how much you'd get out of interviewing Eman. It might be interesting to hear his own experience with Warband and what casting for competitive matches was like from his perspective, but from what I can tell his own understanding of competitive goes as far as "Whoa, the horses are like running around and stuff! Wait, look at the textures on this tree!"

Calamity would be a good interview. Dude played top level throughout every era of competitive Warband in NA, from BkS's total domination, to Balion's takeover, to TMW's short-lived reign, and finally wK's comfortable seat on top of NA.

A few suggestions for NA players, if you're willing to take any:

Deafening: He's played Warband since beta, and has done more for the dueling scene in NA than anyone else I'm aware of. Add to that his years of work developing quality streams in NA, you'd have loads to talk about. He's a super well-spoken guy, so if he were willing I'm sure he'd have interesting answers.

Mad Dawg: I have my doubts that he'd be willing to do any sort of interview, but with the right questions you'd have yourself a great read. Leader of one-dominant Balion Mercenaries, Mad is someone who has had sometimes controversial opinions about how Warband should be played, the game's balance, and the community.

WilySly: Basically same story as Calamity, I just think he'd give better answers than just "it's what we do we win **** #wkswag"

Rurin or Clockwise: Both have held leadership roles in TMW for years. I'm sure they would have a lot to say about being so close to the top for such a long time. Also super nice people who I'm sure would give great answer.

Darin is another beta-player from the NA side of Warband, and I bet you'd find one of the older GK leaders good interviewees too. Like chainsawpunisher (aka Chainsaw).

Thanks for the help Juve, that's gladly appreciated.

Concerning Eman, it's mainly because some people did throw his name quite some times as a proposition and also because he is a quite a "figure" of the EU streaming scene however I'm not even sure he is interested by the project and failed to contact him yet. But yeah, kinda agree with you.

Calamity is on my plan for the next interviews, so he is Deafening who finally answered my PM! I've also noted down the other name you sent me and would definetly love to hear what they have to say, especially Mr Clockwise.

Got it mate, noted down aswell.

Thanks again for all the amazing feedbacks guys.

Think some names on your list aren't exactly 'unsung', but looking forward to the next interviews

Tardet 说:
This list is all the people I would like to interview. I will be adding people that I consider fiting the criterias, meaning having contribuating to the community by any ways, being a player which is part of rising clan in the scene or a rising star himself, or having generaly interesting things to share with the community. All the people you will see are not unsung but they all have been doing something for the community at one point and that's why I want to talk with them

We'd need to get video of that.

The first ever streamed Unsung Heroes interview?
I think Rhade posted a video of the last time the two of them got together.  It was in the BkS thread somewhere.

[wK] Calamity
"Old Man"

After Arys who delivered us a splendid interview, we're today receiving another great personality from the NA scene, Calamity! As for your American colleague, I think a little talk about your first steps in the community would be interesting to start first ! (A basic presentation of yourself, how you started the game, who you've been playing for, all this kind of stuff you've probably read in previous interviews).

Name's Ryan, and I come from the land of cheese and good beer: Wisconsin. I own a couple security businesses and have a degree in Criminal Justice.

My first tournament was one made by Kitten, KBOOB. I thought it was run very well and as it turned out Kitten had retired after this. After playing in a couple more tourneys ran by Marnid I decided to give it a go. He had a solid ruleset and it was amazing to me. It was used for many more tournaments after.

I was lead admin for CJTT (Calamity and John's Team Tournament), which was similar to KBOOB and - in my opinion - was a great entry tournament for me.
Afterwards I took a bit of a break and created UNAC with the help of the community. To this day UNAC S1 is the best tournament ever created in North America. It didn't have the best streams or sponsors, but it had the sickest competition and was the top end for our community.

There were smaller things involved but those were my first two years here.

Could you tell us more about the West Knights actually, as there is hardly any clan which had such a dominance on the NA scene. What was your role in the clan and what are the plans of the wK for the future, including Bannerlord.

wK is a very unique clan. We had very humble beginnings and really struggled to win matches at the start. We got slaughtered by the bigger clans (BkS, Balions, Zerg) for the first year. It was pretty brutal.

Our leadership changed about 5 months into our existence, passing to WilySly and myself. My role is mostly administrative (Website, forums, teamspeak) and I was backup caller for most our time in Warband. I usually stay productive hosting a clan event or keeping things fresh. If Wily ever leaves I'm left doing both jobs, luckily that only happened once. Wily and I have a pretty nice team going at this point. Our goal was to turn everything upside down and make a name for ourselves. We befriended people like Rhade, Mad Dawg and other community leaders and learned from the best.

We held practices every week and started growing our team and talent within. A lot of people think we just grabbed everyone good and won using mercenaries. This is simply false and it pains me everytime I see people post this garbage. We won our first tournament with little to no mercs. Our second tournament win (UNAC S1) had one. After that, we grabbed a couple along the way and continued down our path.

We had to work very hard to get to where we are today, and it shows. wK retired after WPL, having the highest number of major tournament victories in the world. We're quite proud of what we accomplished but we also have a softer side to us. We wanted to return the favor to the community so we set up a mentor thread and helped train numerous Warband players. A lot of our members also privately give lessons. What also sets us apart is a lot of us at some point have met up in real life. Our first meetup had seven of us in Las Vegas and it was a blast! A lot of us have real bonds outside of games so we're truly a family. I don't think we will ever fully disband because of it.

When Bannerlord ever releases I believe we will come back in full force and I hope we have some of the competition we used to have in Warband. It's gotten quite stale the last year or so for a lot of us. We would also like to grab a sponsor or two along the way and perhaps start a clan streaming channel on Twitch which I'm currently working on.

You also have been quite involved as an admin for the NA community, being part of several admin teams for the UNAC but your best project still remains the Warband Pro League. Could you tell us about this special experience and what you had in minds since the beginning with Arys and Hani.

I had no involvement until it almost started. I helped Arys with the rules a bit and I think Hani did a lot of the work at the beginning. It was his money and idea. I promised I would handle streaming and I didn't want anything to do with the rest due to time constraints. I did help out with admin duties along the way but Arys pulled most of the weight for that one, along with the rest of the team. It was the highest cash prize tournament in all of Warband and one of the better streamed tournaments (definitely the best in NA) that I think is out there in the scene. Very proud of all of our work that went into it.

Indeed, one of the most impressive thing with the WPL was definitely the high quality stream which has been produced. Streaming has always seemed to be an important thing to your eyes and your new project, BladeCast_TV, looks definitely like a turning point in Warband Streaming. Mind explaining what's planned with the awesome team you gathered?

I had the idea before I started WPL. I used to watch a lot of twitch streams but had never really been directly involved with how they operated. It's the one aspect I haven't done yet in the scene and wanted to try it out. WPL was the perfect tournament for me to test out a completely new thing. It started out kind of rough (as I expected) but turned out to be the most fun I've ever had being involved in an NA tournament.

BladeCast is a very new thing to Warband. I know Lust has long produced the best streams this game has by far and I feel like I can do something more ambitious. It's not a slight to Lust at all, I just feel like we can push the envelope. If TaleWorlds doubles down and cares about the multiplayer scene I believe we can push this game into an eSport. It's not just BladeCast but a community driven effort.

We have the most talented group of admins, casters, graphic designers and people involved I could hope for. It's still very new and I hope there is enough Warband left for us to keep going. It would be a shame for the whole scene to die before Bannerlord releases and I'm left empty handed. Here's my chance to talk to anyone listening at TW: Release this game this year. It's very important. Get a working beta and get feedback. I know the single player community is large but there is a very dedicated base of people wanting something more than Warband.

All I can say is look forward to our first stream. BladeCast has something amazing. It's going to have the best graphics, I can guarantee that. The rest will be up to us to prove we are worthy of being #1 which was my goal from the start. We're still recruiting staff if anyone is reading this. Help us build something amazing. If you have talent please come forward and PM one of us!

The NA scene, even tho quite active and competitive, has always been considered a little bellow the EU one in term of level. Even though it will remain impossible to know which community is the best without organizing LANS, the WPL tried his best to close the gap and was quite successful doing so. But what are you realling expecting for the NA community on Bannelord?

I really dislike this question due to your first point. There isn't a way to prove this without a LAN. EU has good, great, and elite people. NA has good, great, and elite people. This will stay the same for Bannerlord unless both scenes are the same size. I'll say NA has better Cav and EU has better Inf. Archers are tied. There.

We're coming to the end of this interview and as usual, that's the special moment for you to talk freely, about anything you want.

Long list, I don't even care. wK and more.

Wow! Long list.

Thanks, Tardet, for the chance you gave me. Keep it going man, it's a good thing. There are a lot more in North America who deserve a chance to shine. Cheers.

As always, nice interview.

Are you going to create missing banners (Varsung, Scar, Calamity) in the near future?

For Scar, I would need a screenshoot. Calamity should be done soon, but as you know it, Belendor is the one in charge of the graphics, he told me it should be done at some point, but since I couldn't reach him, I decided to provide the interview without the banner, and add it later on
