Just finished a map XD I would love to give it to you but I made it for Monkey (16th_Kaiser_damonkey.) I mad it for the 16th server for when it is up and running. It is kinda like a 16th capital. If He says it is okay to share I would be more than happy to give it to you also.....XD and you can edit it because more than likely you will need too because I am still new at it.

We're all fairly new to this so I doubt any of us would be judgemental :p If he gives the go ahead to share it, then let us know :smile:
 
I will be sure to do that. He is a sleep at the moment though. So tomorrow I will tell him I finished the map....let him play around in it make sure he likes it...(if he doesn't I will make him go to the execution wall, complete with smoke marks XD)

Question, any idea.. If i create map with La haye sainte that it wouldnt replace the temuzu one.. example. Server is hosting La Haye Sainte map, but then i dont have it as I have my own map in that slot.

So to create own map wich to choose in server hosting? SceneObj file mean .sco?
 
As soon as you join a server hosting a custom map your original map is going to be replaced.
 
That's not actually true.  Most of our maps are saved over maps that aren't used, but we have one over Le Haye Sainte and I am still able to play that map on other servers.

Follow my original instructions, but wherever it says multi_temuzu_lahayesainte just replace that with whatever map you would like to replace.
You can find all the map filenames in the SceneObj folder. They'll be in this format:
scn_multi_x_x.sco
You're going to want the .sco file that you replace to be named the same, but for the scenes.txt, you're going to want to leave off the bolded parts. It's already done for you, but just so you know what to search for.

The maps are saved in C:\Users\[Your PC Login]\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband\SceneObj
 
If you mean that if you log into a custom map server that overwrites La Haye Saint with a new map that you won't be able to play on another server with the default La Haye Saint map then that is not accurate.  As soon as you log into a server that is running the default map your map will re-download it and you'll be fine.

If that's not what you mean Refleax then disregard.  :smile:

Couple problems... My both sides spawn the same location, how u change this?

I replaced Wavre with my map... I host dedicated server and add to the config "add_map multi_wavre" wich is the files name, but server loads up this normal map? How to get it into dedicated as a new map, I dont want to host the server.

These are the main probs at the moment before I even would publish them.

Ps. How to get roads and cornfields :smile:
 
Both sides spawn at the same spot
Make sure you have each team's entry points set correctly. Team 1 spawns at Entry Point 0, Team 2 spawns at Entry Point 32.

Dedicated server map doesn't change
Make sure the map is loaded to the dedicated server itself - Mount & Blade Warband Dedicated/Modules/mm russia3
Put your .sco file into the Sceneobj folder and be sure to copy the map code over into the scenes.txt.

Road and Cornfields
Roads are a terrain type - just pick which one looks best to you. Dirt, stone, etc

The cornfields are actually wheat. Look for a wheat scene object.

That's what I actually meant, thanks for clearing it up mate but I’m not so sure about the re-downloading part. I’ll check this when I get back home from work.  :wink:

Wouldn't you have to edit the scense.txt file to contain information about the new map and give that too all the users?

Wasn't this a bit uncalled for? I've never meant to do you guys any harm.
 
I believe it was just fearce defense of all the hard work that people have put into these new maps.  Don't take it personally.
