If you successfully hit your enemy then what if you could then continue your attack with another attack that will have a special animation and do more damage up to x3?

If you have a 1handed axe then heres how it can work

-normal attack-this is normal attack like any other attack but if you hit then

-combo attack1: this will have an animation where the character is hitting his axe harder into the enemy and do x1.5 damage if you hit the combo attack then

-combo attack2: you do a spin attack and if the spin attack hits it will do x3 damage and knock him into the ground and if he is still alive then

-combo attack3: finisher move where the character jumps into the air and smash the axe into the enemy with full force and do x7 damage this is how i thought of the finisher move thread i made the other day and thats how you can kill a downed or injured enemy who survives a spin attack usually a heavily armored knight or high level enemy who can survive a spin attack carried with more propelling force


If you have a 2handed sword then

-normal attack

-combo attack1 will be a spin attack

-combo attack2 will be a spin attack that has a wide rang to hit multiple people and can knock down

-combo attack3 you jump in the air and slash down a downed person

spear

-normal attack

-combo attack1 heavy stab

-combo attack2 spin around and do a long stab that can stab 1.5 range longer than your normal stab and knock the enemy down

-combo attack 3 jump in the air and stab the downed enemy

1handed sword with shield

-normal attack

-combo attack1 heavy slash

-shield bash to knock into the ground

-finisher jump attack

I don't want "combo attacks". Where is the fun if you can spam the enemy with attacks and he can't defend herself? Do you really find fun that?

Most people do not like it. It's not for M&B and you refuse to stop double posting. Give up the act
 
You can spam combo attacks but you can still block them im just suggesting more moves to let you deal damage easier against heavy armor units
 
What if you were a heavy armor unit?  Would you want someone spamming combo attacks on you?  The ideas you come up with are not part of Warband and do not suit the promise that Bannerlord will be.

In my thousands of hours of gameplay I have never struggled to do more damage to an armoured player. Just hold your attack for a little bit, get that +50% bonus damage from the hold. You could swap to a piercing or blunt weapon but to be honest even the weakest Swadian Sword (27c) will two hit kill (one hit?) a full tincan player with the right speed/powerstrike/hold combination.

It might please you to know that combo attacks are in Bannerlord and have already been announced and discussed quite some time ago. They work via chaining attacks together, similar to how camera orientation spam works in Warband now (without the camera orientation whackery).
 
There is a perk that after hitting someone if you hit again with success you will deal more damage. That is the best combo rather than forcing you to change your attack to a predictable pattern.

I like to think the combat system allows you to create your own combos and moves. You don't really need an automatic system for that.
 
Didn't they mention a combo system already for Bannerlord? Something about building up speed/damage by keeping the flow of your attacks going.

attack chaining, kind of a combo system I suppose

Attack Chaining – Swings that complete their motion can now be chained into follow-up attacks which can catch your opponent off-guard after a miss. Unbalanced weapons such as hammers and axes also use the momentum of the first swing for a faster follow-up!
