Some comments on your suggestions however
Damage:
-Weapondamage will be close to Warband Native
-Throwing Weapondamage will be way higher.
Completly agree!
1/2Handed:
-No more 2-handed axes. (Resizing the existing ones and making them onehanded)
-The 2-handed option for swords will be removed for all swords except longswords
A few axes could have well been two handed, especially some frankish axehammers. Same goes for some irish swords which have elongated hilts. I can propose this:
- two handed axes can be wood cutting axes, heavy and slow, used only by peasants and bandits. Heavy axeheads are not fit for battle use
- other two handed axes and "one hand and a half" irish swords can be champion weapons, restricted to player and NPCs.
Shields:
-Normal Shields will be cheap, during ironrim shields will be still expencive. (like shields are in Brytenwalda now)
-Much lower health for shields
-Higher armor
-Shieldspeed will be lowered in particular for heavy types for exemple with iron rim
I don't know any evidence of shields with bronze or iron rim in 7th century Britain. Romans used them, and some bronze rims were found in the 3rd century danish bog deposit at Thorsberg. They were quite thin. You want a light shield, light as possible. When you are fighting, you try to get over the shield, not destruct it anyway, for your weapon can get stuck into the wood.
Destructing shields is the work of javelins, throwing spears and franciscas. They don't have to be that weak, except against those weapons.
Better and thougher shields would be done by covering them with several layers of linen, rawhide or leather, instead of a plain wood surface. The best shields are also lenticular, and those should be more expensive as they are more difficult to make.
Shield and spear had somewhat the same price by that period, for an indication.
Throwing Weapons:
-way more damage
-way less speed
-less accuracy
Totally agree. Way, way more damage needed. Maybe less range aswell. Accuracy could be tweaked using the good skills, for an experienced warrior to always hit his target.
Especially horsemen should get more javelin ammo. It would be great for javelins to get a "charge bonus" as a javelin thrown by a warrior on a full speed horse would even deal more damage.
And less ammo (no bag) for infantry troups, except light skirmishing troops. 2-4 more powerful javelins would be enough.
Last not least, spears need to be more efficient and powerful aswell
