Combat improvement To:Armagan

I have such suggestion for improvement of combat:
During combat head shots deliver more damage than others. That’s right but why not creating other areas for damaging? For example when you damage the legs of enemy he walks slowly, when you damage the arms, enemy receives penalties for using shield or weapon, and so on. But I think, not to make archer or crossbow man an ultimate weapon, penalties for damaged arm/leg must be given only in case of the serious wound (just to avoid the situation when armored knight was wounded for 1 hp in his arm and he cant use the shield properly any more).
Also there is sense in creating a class of spear men for Swadians and Vaegirs soldiers upgrade, ‘cause there are not to much offered, and sometimes infantry must fight back during combat with cavalry.
What do you think?

P.S. What kinds of credit cards do you receive except “Master Card” and “Visa”? Will “Visa Electron” do? And when do you plan to finish the game? I REALLY like it. I think this is what I’ve been waiting from RPG games.

Visa Electron wont do. Only Visa (theres an exception though...from what i have heard and know of, Sampo's Visa Electron works just like normal Visa. If you are finnish of course..) The game doesnt have any sort of deadline as of yet, but i heard that they have promised to continue the work on it for the next six months atleast.

Your idea sounds ok. Dont know if it requires hard work to do really, absolutely clueless

Nordeas too, I believe? Definitely not Osuuspankkis, that piece-of-***.

Nah, who wants to fight a bunch of cripples? Who wants to have cripples fighting for them? Soldiers are either fit to fight or not. If they're not fit to fight, they're "unconscious", ie out of the fray, that's how the system works and it seems fine to me.

Changes like this would require substantial additions to the game code IMO and I can't see the end result would be worth the effort.

 radja's suggestion is an interesting one. It would definitely increase the reality of combat injuries and the difficulties for both the player and the A.I.

However, I share screwtype's sentiments in the sense that I'm not sure that increasing the reality of combat would increase the fun of Mount & Blade. Right now, basically injuries are largely abstract: a combatant is hit, he receives an injury bringing him closer to death or knocking him out of the fray. Simple.

I doubt that it would be more fun if in battle, half the fighters are limping, unable to swing a blade, hold a shield, etc. though it might be more realistic.

My sense is that since combat already is largely abstracted and missing other vital elements like fatigue and morale, it's not crucial to include crippling injuries. What say you?

In the AI dominated game I have to agree that it's kinda pointless. Something to keep in mind for M&B2 though, if that has multiplayer.

i used a visa electron, and it worked just fine.

Im not aware of the operating banks at your country Skree. I suppose they have some contracts on the visa electron cards what let you use it like normal Visa. Here in Finland only Sampo has that from what i know of. Rest of the banks like Nordea or OP dont have that, you need Visa, electron wont do. (atleast by default it wont work, one could do somesort of contract with the bank when creating the card).

For the topic at hand: damage / wounds effecting on different bodyparts? good idea.
