Coloured Sparkles :S

I'm having an odd issue - since I upgraded my computer, I've been getting tiny coloured sparkles (look like a tiny camera flash, but only colour rather than bright, blinding light) appearing on the terrain in game. Colours can be white, yellow, pink. They usually seem to appear near thin, small, white jagged lines in the terrain (small graphical glitches that briefly occur when I move). The flashes/sparkles only appear very briefly and they don't appear when I'm not moving or moving the camera around. They seem to always be the same size, regardless of distance from me, but maybe that's my imagination.

I've tried to get screenshots of it, but they're so brief and relatively infrequent that I haven't been able to screenshot the issue so far.

I've got a GeForce GTX 560 and the latest drivers. Running Windows 7 64 bit.

Any ideas on how to fix the issue are appreciated.

Do you have HDR set on "High"?
Try the lower setting...and/or double check that your graphics card driver isn't supplying extra bloom, hdr, etc effects too.

That didn't work, but someone suggested that I try turning on "Force Vertical Sync." and that fully cleared it up - no more sparkly flashes or jagged lines in the terrain. Just thought I'd let people know what the fix is in case anyone tries to search for this in the future.

I can find the topic where I posted my unsolved problem before so I'll put it here to avoid starting new topic. It's about "wavering" line which goes slowly from the bottom of the screen and then disappears in the middle while in battle or on a big map of some of the mods. It probably has something to do with adjustment of the graphic card since annoying line appears in large battles or in more graphic demanding mods like 1776, not to mention Floris.
Graphic card is gts450 and monitor is asus vw1950 19" widescreen. Also, I have 2Gb of RAM and it never happens in MP but not sure how much is that relevant.

Ok, I've turned Vertical Sync off - it lowers my framerate to 60 (which was expected), but it seems to cause my game to stutter/freeze every second or so; as if my computer is running too fast for Vert Sync to cap the framerate. Any idea how to fix this? If not, I can live with the sparkles.

regarding the sparks, i've had them aswell but was able to fix it by not keeping HDR and antialiasing enabled simultaneously
