Collecting Tax

How do I collect tax from my fiefs?
I see no collect tax option at the fiefs.

You will automatically collect taxes from all the fiefs at pay day (And then the wages are deducted right away thus)

Do be sure to have some cash on hand though. Taxes collected from fiefs can fluctuate especially in the beginning when you have few fiefs. Also, if you have castles, each of them needs upkeep of 250 bucks (i.e. it pays -250 taxes), so in the beginning you'll be losing money, until you get your first city.

You probably need to have an empire before your holdings actually generate cash to the point of supporting you well enough to be stable.  What that means is that you have at least 1 or 2 towns and farm your castles and villages out to your lords.  I always try to stimulate my cash flow by keeping prisoners, battling roaming bands, a little mercantilism, tournaments and whatever rocks your fancy.

You need to visit any settlement after payday and then you'll get the entire amount. If you don't it'll stack up and you can collect many weeks taxes at the same time.

That was true in v4.0, but v4.1 does it automatically as mentioned before.
