Co-op Campaign?

I know this post is similar to some but this is my version.

I would love to have a friend as companion in my army, Wouldent it be cool if you had a friend who could log in and join in battles as one of your existing companions? Log in as a spectator or have more friends as spectator in your singleplayer campaign and they can join up as one of the companions. Your able to choose wich one of the companions he or she could play as. - Omg Xobra why did you give Marnid? He only got a club! - I cant pay for weapons yet *Lie* 

This Idea I got from Napoleon Totalwar that you can join in as the enemy army in the singleplayer that somebody playing on. would be fun to play as a band of looters kicking some beginners army of recruits Would be choice to do so if you want to invite a friend to fight against you for challange or somebody random.

There is a mod for this. It is called Battle Time.  I haven't played it but I'm pretty sure that it has what you are after.
