An interesting commentary by Gerald Celente from Trends Journal (Have come across him a fair bit due to my business studies.)

Its a cynical view of the CNN debate and the current state of affairs.

They need to have moderators with balls.

Lol yeah and then they waste time by asking stupid questions on top of it.
I found his constant an - an - annoying.

Get Majhudeen to moderate.

****ING MAGGOT. SHUT THE **** UP. YOUR THIRTY SECONDS ARE UP. *ARAB BABBLE* NEXT CANIDATE!

Their mics should simply cut out after their time runs out, and then come back on when they are supposed to speak again. Houses of parliament in the UK are the worst though. Every time i watch a debate the way they jeer at each other just reminds me of the mobs in south park going "RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!" It makes me sad knowing these people run our country.

At least thats entertaining

I half expect a sassy black women to burst in and wag her finger while spouting off about her baby's daddy.

This is actually what I like to see, quick point and everyone jumping up and down to get a chance to rebutt. I find that politics today is getting to the point were jeering is not enough to give politicians a hint/knudge in the right direction.

Why would I bother monitoring a bunch of half brained moldies running for the crayon circus contest?
Jeez... Thats hurting my friend...

And I can't be arsed with politics. I think democracy is a joke, I'd just go El Presidente and shoot them all. **** it, if thats the choices a nation has for presidency, why the **** even bother with such a dramatic show. You know the next head in office is going to have it sniffing their own ass, you might as well just say **** it and go appoint some obscure chimpanzee to run the country.

Private industries would put multiple space stations in orbit as well as install a moon base? I don't think Gingrich knows very much about the massive start up cost of sending things out to space and the lack of anything worth investing there besides communications satellites. It isn't even financially proportionally close to a transcontinental railway. It's like building a railway to the centre of a vast and inhospitable desert just for the hope that they would find something of value there.

A lack of charisma and gravity isn't always an indication of a bad stateman, they can make up for this with keen eye for finding people who know what they're doing; picking out talented staff members.

Its not the fact of personaltiy that matters as you said. But judging by the backgrounds of some of these candidates, I don't blieve their ability to manage such a large position is such a good idea. Regardless im not going to comment further on it, I got enough of a joke in my own nation, I don't want to burst my nards going off about some maggots in another country that I have no involvement in.

Being that Kuwait has massive oil reserves and probably uses U.S.D as a oil reserve currency it may just affect you when one of these twats continues to bankrupt the U.S. That is of course if the U.S. dollar continues to fall in value.

Politicians are so completely out of touch with the reality in this country. And the problem with a polarised political system is they argue about things simply because they are on opposite sides rather than discussing what's truly best for the people, the arguments break down to what is essentially a juvenile name calling contest rather than discussing the pro's and con's of a new law or proposal like adults and deciding what's best for the people.

My problem with American politicians is that I hate most Americans, and consequently there are no candidates in which I'm remotely interested.

May i introduce to you Jimmy McMillan, from "The rent is too damn high" party.
Technically he is a presidential candidate in the next election. I would vote for him if I could rather than spoil my vote like I usually do.

When I first turned the debate on, I thought it was a SNL skit. Oh the lulz I get from watching incompetent GOP candidates answer political questions. I mean, Santorum mentioning something about us turning our backs on the Poles and Czechs, and Bachmann somehow linking abortion to the Declaration of Independence, it really is amusing (and scary) to listen to.

You make a good point there in that polarization means the value of what is discussed diminishes + politicians are out of touch.

Which is why multi-party system with proportional representation is superior to a two-party winner-takes-all system.

Provided they don't get bogged down in "no u!"'s and bids for power with poorly thought-out coalitions and taking a lot of time to do nothing whatsoever.

Yes. Holy ****, what is it with the Ameri-boner for their own patriotism and the ridiculous pledge?!

2 reasons.

1) stupid quips and baseless accusations are believed

2) the first person to point out the stupidity of such things is the target for opportunistic accusation of the sort the 1) addresses.

Also, I have never uttered the pledge of allegiance. That THAT society.

I'll be voting for Ron Paul again in the primary, but I'd still like to see them invite Gary Johnson to the debates (he was at the first one). Other than those two, there's absolutely no way I'll vote GOP (or Dem) in the 2012 presidential election. They're all a bunch of statist tools trying to weasel their way into power with lies, useless one liners, and fake smiles (except maybe Newt Gingrich, since he doesn't smile).

Yeah, in the first debate Johnson surprised me. Tim Pawlenty however really annoys me, such a sleazy person.
