That looks great! It will be useful for my mod, as I've been informed I need more oval shields.

Well, I'll make designs for hastatii(boar) and triarii(wolves) eventually. As for the oval shield part, if you're making a 5-4th Century mod, yes, you need a lot of scutum models. The Gauls, Celtiberians, Samnites, and other Italians use it as well as some newer Greek troops.

Finished Marian era scutum.

ok. i think i will be able to do the rest from that. i believe someone gave me an obj file before and i put it into brf

It's easy. If you send me everything Gothic, I'll add it to the BRF, convert all the textures, and send it back to you for uploading.

that would be awesome specialist, really need that illyrian helm!!

you're a bit of a life saver you know that? in fact both of you are. what would i do without you guys, all sorts of silly things i guess

I'm not even sure white was used much(as for as pre Augustan shields go), but it should be no problem making variations in Openbrf or something. If I make it white, I have to copy the texture and kill some space=/.

oops i didn't expressed myself correctly, i'm talking about the wings/bird/whatever it is. i think white could be nicer

Oh, normally, the white part is the horn that is in the middle of some patterns.

i believe that after clicking various things i have succeeded in turning the objs into a brf file
there are 2 materials to use, the bronze and silver ones, which should i be using?

EDIT: just noticed that the feathers of the etrusco-corinthian do not show in game

Yep, I noticed as well and I'll eventually resolve that problem. For now though, here's the items in-game. My computer is ok now, but no internet.

Currently, I'm having problems with alpha channels so crests and plumes don't look like they should.

Hey, just a quick note. I used your xiphos texture for 4-6 other swords.
I didn't think about asking...but I ended up releasing it as Open Source. I can remove them if it's an issue.
So..are you alright with me using your texture in an OSP pack other than this one?

Ps. You got full credit, I just made the models that your texture went on.
