Dont know about NA, but I know here some players who only used to play siege before and are now atleast at the average level in competitive play.

Siege is good for archer practice and practice dodging arrows.

Brand new to the game? Siege isn't a bad place to learn. Have plenty of friends who started playing on siege first. Battle usually has a higher average skill level for sure, but that could completely demoralize a new player. Clockwise and I both started out (way back in the day) by playing siege, and I'm not sure if we would have stayed in the game if it were battle only.

I have to say Winnie LBs in native arent realistic or really well fun they are mostly a bunch of guys from NW trying to be competitive when in facts it's kind of noobish

That's only because your thinking of them as NW LBs instead of just battles and how wouldn't they be realistic? And that's orobably why their not realistic to you because you're still thinking of them as LB when they would just be battles just organized like IRL back then. Like they would stick in formation and attack organized and tactically, even in sieges when in a lot of battles they would just get in and charge but no  it in all of them they would regroup and then move on. Rather then just going to the same battle together and being somewhat organized. And how wouldn't it be fun? If it isn't fun then how come NW is so popular  or even when the people that do it now A days on NATIVE have a lot of people doing it, so before I continue to rant on how wouldn't it? Be fun or realistic?

1. giving everyone the stupid amount of Gold they use on those things isnt fun when you're fighting guys covered in plate armor in which becomes just a gigantic cluster****

2. there is a definite lack of skill in these linebattles, all it is who can spam 2 handed and archers the most

3. Also realistic? you telling me a bunch of assholes in medieval lined up in plate armor with huge ass 2 handed swords and just charged at each other? I can give you so many examples about how unrealistic that is



The benefit of small team play is that it shows individual skill and skill as a unit, I can guarantee that say wK has the teamwork and skill to destroy most of the groups that take part of native lbs, because they work as a group

It depends on what you're doing. If you had a 50v50 going on, the players using line formation would probably do better than a mass of disorganized players. But in small teams, 7v7 8v8 battles like the warband competitive scene uses, using formations just doesn't work against players with anything more than basic skill. But in pubs? Who knows, a linebattle might be cool.

And yeah, myself and rurin played like non stop siege back in the day. Rudkhan castle top map NA.

1. Just because they set the gold amount that high doesn't mean you or anybody else has too or that you have to choose that armor you're free to choose what ever armor you wish.

2. How is it a lack of skill?, and I see people just running around with two handed weapons all the time on native (even POM) and a decent amount of archers on some of them. Also most of the "Native LBs" I have seen there is a cap for archers and other units.

3. Still don't see how it's unrealistic because they don't just charge each other. Just like in other battles there is tactic such as flanking, suppressing, encircling, Etc.

4.So how does small team play show any more skill then large or medium team play when their going up against the same or about the same size groups rather it's individual or unit base. And you can guarantee what ever you want because just saying you can beat them because "the wK works as a group" is such a ridicules reason, and before you start on about that comment IM NOT SAYING that working as a group is a stupid thing or a thing that is going to make you lose or what way you took that comment as, I AM SAYING that you making the group comment you made just implies that the people who do NATIVE BATTLES in that order don't work as groups or as a unit and that would be entirely incorrect which makes your argument invalid.

I am not talking about POM I am talking about competitive I understand that plenty of 2h heroes are on POM, we are talking about events not just Pubbing

Ok my bad on that one but other then that mistake that was on me that I can't argue with because I and not experience enough on that to make a statement on that, everything else is still correct with what I said
