I guess you need a dedicated computer, and the required bandwith, to host a server.

Hopefully I'll be able to find those things

Well I'll be able to find a dedicated computer - but the bandwidth and the money to pay for it is another question. But I'll see If I can get something done.

As you said we could always pull the plug if the server isn't used.
As we have all experienced what it is like on the 22nd server with the hell we get we may get a good idea on what rules the server should have.
Also I was thinking - should the player start with 1500 gold? It would allow the player to buy a horse and the faction's top - allowing players to set up a faction earlier on.
I'll let you guys think about what the rules should be.
Plus I aim for roleplay on the biggest part - not a deathmatch like on the 22nd server. (No offence 22nd admins - you try your best
)

Getting our own server is a good step but if nobody agrees to host one its hard for us to help him with the money...And we can populate it if we get a good ping as we most of us live in Eu i think we will be better than ok... Still as I said we need to get a good ping 250 max to get some players.

And btw2 guys... The eu beaver server got version 1.123 by some reason... so we will be unable to play on it. Still im looking forward for tomorrow

Well I'll get a site up and a donate button on it so if you guys have a spare quid or a spare dollar ect. you can donate to keep the server running
The server is based in France
(I'm not in France) and the ping to a server based on the east coat of America is about 120 (But that might go up if the server has loads of players online ) Though I can't remember what the ping for England is Also guys, please get along - if you have something against another don't insult them - you may regret it or upset someone...

Hmmmm..... I just hope I can get the server running by tomorrow or Beaver updates otherwise we're going to have to fight in a living hell.

im in the US so my ping is always awful already :/
If I may ask why wasn't Akita cooperating? Or at least what was it cooperating for - orders by higher ranks don't really mean anything until the events, but are still to be respected if appropriate on other days.
The cost - I don't know - not yet at least, but hopefully not too much.
Well the ping to the east coast is currently around 120 (Pingtest
) so hopefull it won't be too bad.

Some people (Like me ) Prefer to go lone wolf or be a leader. You could have easily marked her as a traitor for not following orders
but insulting isn't the way forwards. But please, it would be great if you guys could make up - if you haven't already, it would make the gaming experience more enjoyable for everyone.
