THE FOUNDATION OF HOUSE TOWERS
In the year 1130 AL, a boy by the name of Britton was born. Like his father and his fathers before him, Britton was trained as a mason and engineer, proving to be a brilliant architect in the process. By the time Britton was a man, he was already making quite a name for himself in the Guild of Masonry; soon enough becoming master of his own chapter in the City of Praven. In the year 1150, the First War for Rhodok Independence broke out. Though ultimately unsuccessful for the Rhodoks, the war left the City of Praven in dire shape, with collapsed walls, towers, and gatehouses surrounding crumpled structures. The Swadian King feared that the suppressed rebellion would not remain so for long, and he knew Praven could not withstand another siege in its current state. The King employed the help of Praven's Masons' Guild to restore Praven to not only a hospitable city, but also a formidable stronghold. Britton immediately drew up new designs to reinforce Praven's defences while allowing his fellow masons to rebuild the inner workings of the city. By 1159, construction was completed, and Britton's towers stood nearly indestructible, able to withstand even catapult and trebuchet, thus forcing besieging armies to assault using ladders. The King was incredibly pleased with Britton's work, and decided to establish him as a noble in his court, and thus, House Towers was formed.

LORD BRITTON II - The current head of House Towers, Sir Britton is quite the administrator. He values honor and family above all else; and though he is aging and a man of mental pursuits, he will not hesitate to put a sword through your chest if you threaten either of these things.
SIR ROLAND - Preferring the lute to the lance, Sir Roland is quite a skilled bard, often masquerading as a common minstrel and assisting the peasants of Glunmar. Despite this fact, he has also had a fair amount of training in the art of warfare and will take up arms to defend anyone in need of aid, so long as he's properly equipped. A man of honor, Sir Roland is a man one can place their trust in; he'll seldom lie unless it means protection of the weak. Roland is a staunch opponent of taxation and robbery and prefers honest methods of work to fill his coffers. He currently roams the Valley of Swamps as a hedge knight in order to gather information on the whereabouts of his sister and possibly act as a diplomat for his House.
ALISOUN - Roland's beautiful younger sister whose current location is unknown. She is described as a heavenly creature - kind to all. Britton and Roland are determined she is still alive, but other family members have decided to move on with their lives.
SIR DUNSTAN II - A descendant of the first knight of House Towers, Dunstan II is a trained knight, often preferring to wear plate. You'll find holding a conversation with him difficult, as he has taken a vow of silence after his father's death. He often rides alongside his distant cousin, Roland, and is therefore in the Valley of Swamps.
