Claimant to a missing throne.

So I'm helping Lady Isolla of Suno reclaim her throne from Harlaus, but Swadia is at war with the Vaegirs and Khanate, to the point they no longer have any field armies and they're being besieged nastily. My question is...what happens if Swadia gets eliminated before the rebellion gains any territory?

Well you would probaly still win.  The objective is to make sure all of Swadia is destroyed, not conquer all the land.  Problem is, the newly reformed kingdom of Swadia would have no land.  That's just my guess, though.
