Hello everyone, I searched around for a topic similar to this both on google and on the forums and did not find anything, so here's my problem: So today I was just playing my Mount & Blade singleplayer campaign for a while. It's pretty much the beginning of the game right now. I just mustered up enough forces to take my first castle, and I have decided to swear vassalage to the Sarranid Sultanate during this particular game. My faction, the Sarranids, have been at war with the Vaegirs and the Swadians for some time, and in that war we have taken one major city, which would be Dhirim. At one point about three hundred Swadians besieged Dhirim and I held the walls with my army of 65 plus the small garrison that Sultan Hakim had placed there. The city held and the remaining Swadians dispersed, followed by me quickly giving chase and destroying their fleeing army in the field. I then went up to Reyvadin and snuck into the city in hopes of finding a ransom broker. I found one there and when I came out of the city, Dhirim, the city that I had JUST defended, had suddenly turned from Sarranid to Nord. I came up with one possible explanation: The Vaegirs must have taken the city when I was on my way to Reyvadin and I did not notice it, and since the Nords are at war with the Vaegirs, the Nords then took it from the Vaegirs. But that happened awfully fast. Whatever. Later, after being rewarded my first fief beyond the crappy little village you get when you swear vassalage, I went about raising a garrison for my new castle. That is when I noticed something EXTREMELY peculiar. Durquba, a city that starts under the control of the Sarranid Sultanate, had inexplicably changed factions from Sarranid to Nord, just as Dhirim had. The Sarranids are not, nor have they ever been at war with the Nords in this game thus far and the Nords were now at peace with everyone on the map, meaning that the city was not taken by force by one kingdom and then taken again by the Nords. What kind of bleeding nonsense is this? I have been playing Mount & Blade Warband for years and I have never seen anything like this. What is going on? Is this a bug? Any help or explanations at all would be appreciated.
