Perhaps you could change the Francisca model so that it looks like a candy cane and change its texture? I tried to do it myself, but I'm rubbish at modelling. Good luck anyway.

I'm pretty busy atm with university stuff (first year economics), so this project isn't really my n°1 priority (another reason for that is that I just can't figure out how to get Wings3D models and textures to BRF files, despite all tutorials )
