I edit my characters file to test things, but I have my non-cheating save that I mainly play.

It depends, if there is a stupid bug that screws me over, then I cheat to renew my losses.

But other than that, I just dont use them, no point.

I used a cheat to kill a bandit I couldn't find in London but apart from that I use them sparingly

I've got a save where i play without any cheats and on hardest possible difficulty. But i got another save file where i test various things by cheating, it's faster that way

I cheat mostly my stats to distribute the points I don't like, for example if I get 3 points in riding but planning on playing on foot I put those three points into athletics, and a big cheat I use is also increasing my life or while playing a battle healing myself (ctrl+h) since I like to role play an Invincible god/main movie character type that never dies I enjoy battles longer and don't die with one shot that's just me though
