cheats and export in 1.0+

I wonder if these options will be disabled, or be less transparent in the final. They were great for testing the betas without having to start over at level 1 all the time, but most final game versions do not have a cheat menu in their launchers. Do you think they should be left in the final?

Yeah i think it should be removed in the final version, to give the game a longer lifespan for people.

Cheating comes in handy when testing a new version, or making video's. But I agree with you there!

I think it should be left in. I hate it when I have to edit dome files, learn some console commands only to activate a little cheat.

Serious players don't need and don't use them anyway. Suckers who can't handle the game otherwise can have them for all I care. At least it reduces the whining OMG! WTF! I am getting  my ass handled to me every time, teh game sux!

I don't see why they should be removed. Exporting can be quite useful, I decided to switch from crossbows to bows, so I reassigned some skills here and there. I don't see how that's cheating, and more importantly, I don't see why anyone should care. If you don't want to use them, that's fine. Nobody's making you. But what if somebody does want to cheat? Then we'll have 84,000 topics in the wrong forums asking for teh cheet coedz.

This game is single player. Someone cheating has absolutely no effect on you or your play. Who cares if the cheats are in the start-up menu it makes no difference. If someone wants to be non-legit in single player, let them. They bought the game and they can do what they want.

The cheats are required to be left in if you ever want to see a mod developed.

I usually play legit, but sometimes I want to test out a new killing style, or just mass solo rape. So, I make a new character, and uber him out. I have soloed castles before. With the Health Cheat, XP / Proficiency cheat.

I think that they should be left right where they are.

I used character export a lot to try different weapons before I decided which way should i go or sometimes to be superman and soloing around butchering everything I see . I usually cheat with other games after I finish them without cheating and cheating opens new ways or options in games, also this is a single player game so I don't care what other people do in their games. So character export should be stay as it is at the last version IMO.

Both are useful for testing little changes I make to the game, I'd like them left in.
