Cheat Mode In Character Creation

I'm trying to find out how to enable the cheat mode that offers the CHEAT! option during character creation. I'm not talking about the one that is enabled via the game's launcher.

Also, is there anyway to turn off all the debug text this cheat puts out during gameplay?

1.) If you have no pertinent information then you shouldn't post - this is just basic etiquette.

2.) The pertinent portionsof my original post are highlighted:

3.) Mount&Blade and it's sequel Warband have two cheat modes, one is enabled via the game's launcher and allows the player to use keyboard commands to activate various cheats. The second is an actual cheat/debug mode which is enabled through the game files. How to enable it is my question -  not sure how to do it in Warband. This mode starts off the player with more gear, a higher level and a slew of new options when in towns/castles. This mode is offered to the player during the character creation process and is called simply CHEAT!. . .

That doesn't seem to do anything. It neither enables the cheats of the launcher cheat mode nor gives any bonus' or options of the debug mode.

Bringing up the console is not the issue, the issue is the command which as stated seems to do nothing. I should further note that my question was not so much as how to enable it, menus.txt, but how to remove the debug text that clutters the screen every second the mode is active.

Go to "Camp" menu, then "CHEAT MENU", then set debug messages to political only. It will disable a few features tho, but re-enable them when you need to. I have that "CHEAT" in character creation screen, but I can't remember how I got it. Hold on a bit and I'll search for it.

Just the town/castle options (besiege, interior, sail from port etc.), option to order a lord around (like me, attack someone, join your kingdom etc.) - basically most of the things go off until you put the debug messages back to all. So it's wiser to just turn cheatmenu off while not using it.

I didn't realize you could order a lord to join your kingdom with cheatmenu.  Does that option exist for kings?

You understood me wrong, it's option to join the vassal's/king's faction, but you can't get the lord to join your faction, sadly. Also there's option to become marshal.
