Chatty caravan-leader...

The caravan-leader comes up to me and asks what to do, more than the first time. I tell him to follow me, then when they reach up with me he asks again.
(they reach up due to my sloooow movement rate)
Cant say when this happens or even how often... its verry unreliable.
It works as it should maybe one out of twenty times...
 
Isn't he supposed to ask you each time you come unto each other so you can change your mind about the caravan staying or following?

I don't think that's really a bug, tho I see how it can be annoying if you're slower than the caravan (I never had that happen to me tho, I always was waaaaaay faster).

Or do I understand your post totally wrong perhaps? :shock:

well near the begining when you have your lame "insert horse anme here' and your 20 "insert faction name" peasants following, you you will deifnatly be slower..and it does get annoying..

also i dont see the point of makin gthe caravan wait anywhere? i just always have them follow me and i have never had a prblm with this
 
This is not a bug, if the caravan catches up with you and you have to put up with the dialog screen I don't see the problem. Sometimes when escorting a caravan across the map I see a gang of darkhunters or some other deadly gang and I either press the space bar or run back to the caravan and tell them to wait because otherwise they start running away which pisses me off worse. If it is a strong caravan I can lure them into helping me fight but usually I just kill the Khergits and then I can go back and tell the caravan to follow again.
 
Ive never had a problem with that , my problem is generally being to lazy to wait for the caravan and going on a mindless killing spree slaughtering various factions..
Still , i dont think it should be a bug , what use is a gaurd who never reports?
 
This is a bug.
There is no point in discussing this.
Its not a major bug, but a bug it is. And probably easy to solve.

I can see what Poohma's saying. I've passed over friendly parties before (I believe, I'm kind of new to this game) and not had to stop to talk with them...

Maybe with cravans, it should be that if you click to persue them and make contact that they talk to you. That or they slow to your speed when they get too close. If not I think it would be quite bothersome....

(though it's never happened to me...)
